Early in his career, he made significant strides while working at BT (British Telecom), where he held several senior management positions, including District Payphone Manager, Business Consultant, and ultimately Chief Research Scientist in Organisational Science,
He Deepened the understanding of organizational complexity and its management challenges. Fostering collaborations with prestigious institutions like The Mathematics Institute at Oxford University, Judge Business School at Cambridge University, Sloan Management School at MIT, and Khalifa University at Abu Dhabi.
During this period, he developed a close collaboration with the late Stafford Beer, a significant figure in cybernetics, and he became one of the co-founders of SCiO, an organisation set up to advance Stafford's work.
Well versed in mathematics, data architecture, data modelling, SQL the language of databases, systems dynamics, cellular automata, control theory, fractal-based management structures and machine learning stephen has been able to seamlessly integrate these areas together to build the brain of the firm.
