Dr. Jan Wehinger, born on May 30, 1978, in Braunschweig, Germany, is a seasoned management consultant currently serving as Partner and Global Head of Partner- and Portfolio Management at MHP - A Porsche Company. With an impressive career primarily within the Volkswagen Group, Dr. Wehinger has excelled in various leadership roles, significantly advancing areas such as software-defined vehicles, customer product and services, and intelligent mobility.
Dr. Wehinger began his career at Volkswagen AG, where his early work included roles in future research from 2009 to 2013. He then moved to MHP, where he rapidly ascended from managing small teams to overseeing substantial divisions with hundreds of full-time employees. His current responsibilities include scaling partnership-related business with major tech companies like Microsoft, AWS, Google, NVIDIA, and SAP, as well as managing MHP’s Wolfsburg offices.
An esteemed speaker and thought leader, Dr. Wehinger regularly contributes to international conferences and has published extensively on topics in digital transformation. His academic background includes a doctorate in engineering from TU Braunschweig, specializing in VSM-based life cycle-oriented innovation systems.
